QA Engineer + Level Designer
Remote, 1+ years of experience
Responsibilities
- Playtest game levels to identify bugs, inconsistencies, and weak gameplay spots
- Evaluate level balance, difficulty curves, and pacing
- Analyze gameplay flow and mechanics: what works, what frustrates players, and where engagement drops
- Contribute to level creation and tuning using internal editors and in-game tools
- Prepare clear bug reports and gameplay improvement suggestions
- Maintain internal QA documentation and track bug fixes through resolution
- Provide technical support and issue analysis based on player reports
- Collaborate closely with game designers and developers
Who we’re looking for
- At least 1 year of experience in QA or manual game testing
- Understanding of game balance and level structure
- Ability to spot critical bugs and gameplay patterns that negatively affect player experience
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
- English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher
- Willingness to complete a test assignment
Nice to have
- Experience creating or tuning levels using editors
- Strong interest in mobile games
- Experience with bug tracking systems
- Proactive mindset: not only finding issues, but suggesting improvements
